held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ms Tan Yew Ling was the team manager and coach. Cheo @cheooo17 represented Singapore at a young age for 400m (1.04s), 4x400m relay (bronze). During the combined training sessions, Ms Tan used to reprimand Cheo for not receiving the baton properly.
Coincidentally, Ms Tan already knew Prof Bala @drbat007 back then. Who knew Prof Bala would coach Cheo years later. And here we are now at Cougars!
